Brief overview ... For the USAID Yei Electricity Program (Sudan), Logenix International has been contracted to provide full logistics services from origins in the US and Europe up to warehouse locations in Yei, Sudan. South Sudan is logistically a very challenging region. Monsoon rains flood the roads during the rainy season making passage very difficult as trucks must travel with winches to extricate themselves from the substandard roads (washed away during rainy season). The region is also rife with bandits and splinter groups of freedom fighters. Despite these difficulties Logenix has an unblemished record in this region. Logenix personnel have traveled throughout the region developing critical knowledge of the local infrastructure and forging important local relationships in Kenya, Uganda as well as Southern Sudan. Typical of our approach to difficult regions throughout the world, this on the ground research has propelled Logenix to the forefront for providing services to Southern Sudan. |
