Logenix is the unprecedented leader in providing strategies for implementing difficult projects.

In one of the very first Supply Chain activities to provide microbicides for HIV/AIDS research and prevention, Logenix created a supply chain to provide “just in time” delivery of the temperature sensitive drugs to Uganda, Burkino Faso, Benin, South Africa, and India.

A cost efficient strategy, utilizing both ocean and air components, was implemented to allow the drugs to move on a consolidated basis from the vendor in Canada to the Logenix United Kingdom warehouse facility. In the UK the microbicides are held in climate controlled areas awaiting call down from the clinics in each country. By utilizing these techniques, there has been no loss or product and the clinics in each country do not risk loss via spoilage.

The Logenix Tracking System, LTS 5.0, plays an important role in this on going supply chain activity. By virtue of LTS web based, ‘real time’ reporting, our clients can see what has been shipped, what is currently on hand in the UK warehouse, and can be distributed to each clinic on a first-in/first-out basis.
