Ron Cruse, Founder and CEO of Logenix International, has had a front row seat for nearly every major world crisis over the past twenty-five years. He has travelled more than 2 million miles throughout over 80 countries.
Logenix is the third company that Cruse has founded and built. In 1986, he founded Matrix International Logistics, and would build it into an 85 million dollar company. In 1992, Cruse organized Matrix NIS, one of the first US-Russian Joint Venture Companies following the Soviet Union's collapse, which grew into the largest privately held freight forwarding operation in the NIS. Matrix and Matrix NIS were sold in 1996 to an investment group led by former Secretary of the Treasury William Simon.
Recognized throughout the industry as the expert in executing successful operations in challenging areas, Cruse has been profiled in Forbes, Financial Times, Logistics Today, Inbound Logistics, World Trade Magazine, and American Shipper, as well as interviewed by countless television, radio, and web news programs. An interview with Inbound Logistics in 2006 has been hailed by scholars as a template for developing world logistics.
Cruse is the also the author of Lies, Bribes, and Peril. His highly reviewed guidebook to conducting business globally provides insights on cultural diversity and its affect on business interactions. The book is used by colleges and universities around the US for both graduate and undergraduate programs.
